How does heat it® work?
heat it® uses a medically validated chemical-free principle of local hyperthermia and provides personalized treatment via an app: just connect the device to your smartphone.
The itch is the body’s reaction to the insect’s saliva. Our body defends itself by releasing histamine. The blood vessels dilate, the bite swells and begins to itch.Â
How does heat it® work?
By briefly heating the skin area to approx. 50°C, endogenous natural reactions are induced, relieving itching and pain. The nerves in the skin react to this heat impulse, reducing the transmission of stimuli: the need to scratch disappears.
